Product Details
After surgery or a significant injury the body needs more protein than usual, at exactly the point when appetite is usually at its lowest. A shake solves a problem a plate of food cannot.
Nutrition Blend is whey protein concentrate from grass-fed New Zealand dairy, gently processed to preserve the naturally occurring protein fractions that harsher processing strips out. Each 30 g scoop supplies 20 g of complete protein, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids the body cannot make for itself. Whey is naturally rich in the branched-chain amino acids, leucine in particular, which is the amino acid most closely tied to muscle protein synthesis. Whey also supplies cysteine, which the body uses to make glutathione, and naturally occurring proteins including lactoferrin.
Both flavors are sweetened without sugar, fructose or artificial sweeteners. Chocolate uses cocoa powder with a stevia blend. Vanilla uses natural flavors with monk fruit.

Frequently asked questions
What is Nutrition Blend and who is it for?
It is a recovery protein powder for people healing from surgery or injury. It supplies 20 g of complete protein per scoop to help meet the raised protein needs of recovery and to support lean muscle.
How do I mix it?
One scoop, 30 grams, into 8 ounces of water or any other beverage, once a day, or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Can I mix it with something other than water?
Yes. Milk, a milk alternative or a smoothie all work. You can add fruit, nut butter or other whole foods to taste. There are shake recipes at truthehealth.com/recipes.
How much protein is in a serving?
20 grams, from whey protein concentrate. Whey is a complete protein, so it contains all nine essential amino acids the body cannot make on its own.
What are BCAAs and EAAs, and why do they matter here?
EAAs are the nine essential amino acids the body has to get from food. BCAAs are three of those nine, and one of them, leucine, is the one most closely associated with muscle protein synthesis. Whey is naturally rich in both, which is why it is the protein used here rather than a blend that needs them added back in.
What is the difference between Chocolate and Vanilla?
Both deliver 20 g of protein per scoop from the same grass-fed whey concentrate. They differ in the flavoring system. Chocolate uses cocoa powder with a stevia blend. Vanilla uses natural flavors with monk fruit. Their other nutrition values differ slightly as a result.
Does it contain dairy?
Yes. Whey is a milk protein, so this product contains milk. Do not use if you have a milk or dairy protein allergy.
Is it sweetened artificially?
No. There are no artificial sweeteners, no added sugar and no fructose. Chocolate is sweetened with a stevia blend and Vanilla with monk fruit.
Why grass-fed New Zealand whey specifically?
The source and the processing both matter. This is whey from grass-fed dairy, gently processed so the naturally occurring protein fractions survive rather than being stripped out by harsher methods.
How long does a tub last?
900 g at one 30 g scoop a day is a 30 day supply.
Can I take more than one scoop a day?
The label direction is one scoop a day. If you want more protein than that, ask your health-care practitioner.
I have kidney disease. Can I use this?
Talk to your physician before using it. Anyone with chronic kidney disease or impaired kidney function should check first.
Is it gluten free?
Yes. It does not contain gluten, soy or GMOs, and it is vegetarian.
Do I need a prescription?
No. It is a dietary supplement.
